Would one want to live a life of Meaning?

Would one want to live a life of Happiness?
One who seeks Meaning would be uncontented with the present and seeks answers upon more questions asked. Using past as a reference, present as a lesson, and try to get a future.
One who seeks Happiness would be happy of present, with no reference or thoughts towards past and future. Being contented just by the fact that he/she is alive now and enjoys life.
So tell me, would you people want Meaning or Happiness in life?
